もともとブランド品の売買に興味があったわけではなく、不動産業を構えたビルが店舗棟だったから、何か商売をしなといけなかったから」なのだという。考えあぐねた森田が苦肉の策として思いついた一手が「妻のシャネルを店頭に置いてみる」だった。「そしたらその日のうちに売れちゃった」。　これは商売になる、と考えた森田はすぐに『CanCam』『ViVi』『JJ』『RAY』といった女性誌の編集長に片っ端から会い、広告を出した。当時はブランド品ブームの真っ只中で、電話は鳴りっぱなしになったという。「１つの新作に30〜40本電話がかかってくる。でもその時は商品は手元にない。電話をもらってから仕入れてすぐに売る」。人生は格闘技"と自らの哲学を語る森田。「遊びにも仕事にも全力投球。そして諦めないこと、運動すること、この二つ」と語る森田。
