만화 카페

망가카페는 일본에서 망가를 읽을 수 있는 일종의 카페다. 사람들은 카페에 머무는 시간 동안 돈을 지불한다. 망가 카페는 대부분 인터넷 카페등 인터넷 접속을 제공하지만 그 반대도 마찬가지다. (하나의 큰 체인점인 뽀빠이는 "미디어 카페"라는 용어를 사용한다. 부가적인 서비스로는 비디오 게임, 텔레비전, 스낵/음료 자판기 등이 있다. 일본 카페와 마찬가지로 흡연도 일반적으로 허용된다.
한 시간 동안 머무는 동안, 비용은 일반적으로 약 400엔 정도이며, 대부분의 장소에서 더 일찍 떠나더라도 최소 금액으로 고객에게 지불하도록 요구한다. 일부 망가 카페는 밤을 지낼 수 있는 서비스를 제공한다. 최근에는 유럽에서도 망가 카페라는 개념이 등장했다.

manga café is a kind of café in Japan where people can read manga. People pay for the time they stay in the café. Most manga cafés also offer internet access like internet cafés  and vice versa, making the two terms mostly interchangeable in Japan. (One large chain, Popeye, uses the term "media cafe"). Additional services include video games, television, snack/beverage vending machine, and more. Like Japanese cafés in general, smoking is usually permitted. For an hour's stay, the cost is generally about 400 yen, with most places requiring customers to pay this as a minimum even if leaving earlier. Some manga cafés offer a service where one can stay for the night.

More recently, the concept of manga cafes has also popped up in Europe.
