팔라우 공화국
 태평양 서부의 연방 국가로서, 필리핀의 남동쪽, 인도네시아령 서뉴기니의 북쪽에 인접한 섬나라이다. 2006년에 코로르에서 응게룰무드로 수도를 옮겼다. 공용어는 팔라우어와 영어이다

Palau is an island country located in the western Pacific Ocean. The country contains approximately 340 islands, forming the western chain of the Caroline Islands in Micronesia, and has an area of 466 square kilometers. The most populous island is Koror. The capital Ngerulmud is located on the nearby island of Babeldaob, in Melekeok State. Palau shares maritime boundaries with Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Federated States of Micronesia.

2006年10月7日に旧首都コロールから遷都した。日本との時差はない.
