잠비아 공화국
아프리카에 있는 내륙국으로 수도는 루사카이다. 북쪽으로 콩고 민주 공화국, 북서쪽으로 탄자니아, 동쪽으로 말라위, 남쪽으로 모잠비크, 짐바브웨, 보츠와나, 나미비아, 서쪽으로 앙골라와 국경을 접한다.1964년 영국으로부터 독립하였으며 당시 인구 2백만 현재는 1,300만으로 늘었으며

아름다운 빅토리아 폭포가 매우 유명하다.

Zambia
officially the Republic of Zambia, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. neighbouring the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Tanzania to the north-east, Malawi to the east, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia to the south, and Angola to the west. The capital city is Lusaka, in the south-central part of Zambia. The population is concentrated mainly around Lusaka in the south and the Copperbelt Province to the northwest, the core economic hubs of the country.

Originally inhabited by Khoisan peoples, the region was affected by the Bantu expansion of the thirteenth century. After visits by European explorers in the eighteenth century, the region became the British protectorates of Barotziland-North-Western Rhodesia and North-Eastern Rhodesia towards the end of the nineteenth century. These were merged in 1911 to form Northern Rhodesia. For most of the colonial period, Zambia was governed by an administration appointed from London with the advice of the British South Africa Company.

通称ザンビアは、アフリカ南部に位置する共和制国家。イギリス連邦加盟国のひとつである。かつてはイギリス領北ローデシアであった地域で、内陸国でありコンゴ民主共和国、タンザニア、マラウイ、モザンビーク、ジンバブエ、ナミビア、アンゴラ、ボツワナの8つの国に接している.首都はルサカで2013年のGDPは約224億ドルであり.島根県とほぼ同じ経済規模である.2012年に発表された世界平和度指数ランキングでは158か国中51位となり、アフリカでもっとも平和な国の一つとして評価されている。

ザンビアと南隣のジンバブエとの国境に流れるザンベジ川には、世界三大瀑布の一つと称されるヴィクトリアの滝があり、アフリカを代表する動物、ゾウ、カバ、キリン、シマウマ、ヌーも多く住み、大自然が大変よく残されている.
