몰타 대학에서 열린 스페인 문학에 관한 스피치가 있었다.

예술, 영어 및 언어 대학의 스페인 황금기 문학 교수인 

이사벨 토레스(Isabel Torres)는 인문학 및 사회 과학 연구에 대한

 뛰어난 공헌을 인정받아 영국 아카데미에 입학한 86명의 저명한 학자 중 한 명이다.

Isabel Torres 교수는 스페인 르네상스('황금 시대') 문학 및 문화 연구 분야에서

국제적인 명성을 얻었습니다. 그녀의 주요 공헌은 르네상스와 바로크 시학 분야에 있었다.

2016년에 그녀는 스페인 문학에 대한 뛰어난 학문적 공헌을 인정받아

스페인 최고의 영예 중 하나인 왕립 스페인 아카데미 회원으로 선출되었다.
Isabel은 이미 Royal Irish Academy의 회원이자 Real Academia의 회원이다.

 

고전 언어와 현대 언어에 대한 배경 지식을 바탕으로

 그녀는 스페인 르네상스와의 관계에서 접두사 're'의 의미론적 가능성을

 해방시키는 데 오랫동안 관심을 가져왔다고 말한다.
특히, 이는  문화 자체의 자아 이미지의 중심으로 재정의함으로써 

초기 근대 스페인 문화의 재정의를 장려했다.

매우 학문적 고찰이 높은 강의였다. 많은 이들이 들었어야 했다는 아쉬움이 남는다.

By Professor Isabel Torres from Queen's University Belfast, who is also a Fellow of the British Academy and a Miembro Correspondiente de la Real Academia Española. The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception sponsored by the Embassy.

 

Isabel Torres, Professor of Spanish Golden Age Literature from the School of Arts,

 English and Languages, is one of 86 distinguished academics admitted to the British Academy

 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to research in the humanities and social sciences.

Professor Isabel Torres has an international reputation in Spanish Renaissance 

(‘Golden Age’) Literary and Cultural Studies; her major contribution has been in the field of Renaissance 

and Baroque poetics. In 2016, she was elected to the Royal Spanish Academy 

– one of Spain’s highest accolades – in recognition of her outstanding scholarly contribution to Spanish literature.
Isabel is already a member of the Royal Irish Academy and a corresponding fellow of the Real Academia.

 

With a background in classical and modern languages, she says she has long been

 interested in liberating the semantic possibilities of the prefix 're' in its relationship

 to the Spanish Renaissance.
In particular, it encThe professor, who loved Don Quixote and Cervantes very much, 

gave a lecture with a high level of academic consideration.

 I feel regretful that many people should have heard it.ouraged a redefinition of early modern Spanish culture

 by redefining cultural production as central to the culture's own self-image.

Her research is a catalyst for a broader reassessment of poetics beyond the spatio-temporal coordinates of her time. It is sensitive to the dynamic interplay of different levels

 of expectation and to the unsettling of established interpretations and teleologies.

イザベル・トーレス教授は、スペイン・ルネサンス（「黄金時代」）の文学と

文化の研究で国際的に名声を博しています。

彼女の主な貢献はルネサンスとバロックの詩学の分野でした。

2016 年、彼女はスペイン文学への優れた学術的貢献が認められ、

スペイン最高の栄誉の 1 つである王立スペインアカデミーの会員に選出されました。
イザベルはすでにロイヤル・アイリッシュ・アカデミーの会員であり、

リアル・アカデミアの会員でもあります。
