이스라엘 사해

사해는 아라비아반도 북서쪽에 위치한 염호. 서쪽으로 이스라엘, 동측을 요르단과 접한다.호수면 해발 418m로 지표에서 가장 낮은 곳이다.역사적으로 여러 이름으로 불렸지만 현재의 영어 이름(Dead Sea)은 아랍어 이름에서 나왔다.

The Dead Sea is a salt lake located northwest of the Arabian Peninsula, facing Israel on the west side and Jordan on the east side. The height of the lake is minus 418 meters, the lowest on the surface. Historically called by many different names, the current English name (Dead Sea) comes from the Arabic name.

死海は、アラビア半島北西部に位置する塩湖。西側にイスラエル、東側をヨルダンに接する。湖面の海抜はマイナス418mと、地表で最も低い場所である。歴史的に様々な名前で呼ばれたが、現在の英語名（Dead Sea）はアラビア語名に由来する。

호면이 해면보다 400m 가량 낮아 지구에서 가장 낮은 수역(水域)을 형성한다. 북반부는 요르단령, 남반부는 요르단령과 이스라엘령으로 나누어지나 1967년 아랍-이스라엘 전쟁 이후 이스라엘군이 서쪽 기슭 전체를 계속 점령하고 있다.

The surface of the sea  is about 400 meters below the surface of the sea, forming the lowest water region on Earth. The Northern Hemisphere is divided into the Jordanian and the Southern Hemisphere and the Jordanian and Israel, but Israeli forces have occupied the entire western shore since the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.

海面は海面下約400メートルで,地球上で最も低い水域を形成している。 北半球はヨルダンと南半球,ヨルダンとイスラエルに分かれていますが,1967年のアラブ·イスラエル戦争以来,イスラエル軍は西海岸全体を占めています。
