제 72대 요코즈나 일본인 탄생

제 72대 일본 스모의 최고봉인 요코즈나에 키세노 사토가 탄생되었으며 일본인으로는 19년만이다.

Kisenosato was promoted to yokozuna in sumo 72nd, 27th at Tokyo's Meiji Jingu Shrine.

大相撲の第７２代横綱に昇進した稀勢の里（３０）が２７日、東京・明治神宮で奉納土俵入りを行った。

1998년 3월 이래 19년만에 일본인 출신 요코즈나줄신 탄생된 소식으로 메이지 진구에서 의식 올린다는 소식을 접한 5천 명의 인파가 새벽 6시부터 밀렸고 경찰 410명까지 동원했으나 결국 오전 중 8천 8백을 육박했고 최후 1만 8천으로 추정하는 축하 인파였다. 결국 3명은 발열로 병원에 실려가는 사태까지 있는 최대의 축하 인원을 보인 일본 요코즈나 소식

１９９８年夏場所後の３代目若乃花以来、１９年ぶりとなる日本出身横綱のお披露目を見届けようと、早朝にはすでに５０００人あまりのファンが集まった。明治神宮側は２６日の段階で「安全に誘導できるのは５０００人まで」（同広報部）と語り、入場者を整理することを発表。入場者の整理を事前に決めるのは、１９年前の３代目若乃花以来。この時は弟の横綱・貴乃花（現親方）との史上初の兄弟横綱誕生を見届けようと、小雨の中５３００人が雄姿を集まった。なお、新横綱の奉納土俵入りでの最多記録は９４年１１月２６日の貴乃花の２万人。午前８時過ぎには入場が制限され、すべての人が入りきれず見届けたのは８８００人。警官４１０人が警備に当たり３人が病院に搬送される大フィーバーだった。
