무병장수 기원하는 의식

일본의 전통 행사, 새해 맞이한 새로운 신을 만나고 지난 신을 보내는 의미다.  1월 8일 소나무와 대나무를 정리해 피워 올라는 습관이며 돈 도도키 라고 대나물 통통 치면서 불을 부치면서 무병장수, 무재해를 기원하는 의식이다.

神主さんの火打石点火の儀式を機に火が燃え上がると、
その周りを青竹を手に持った子供達が
「とんどやとんど」と言いながら地面を叩き回るそうです。

そして、竹竿をを用意し、１年間無病息災で過ごせるようにと、
 先に餅を吊してどんど焼きの火であぶり、焼けたお餅を食する習わしがあります。
