자동차, 메르세데스-벤츠와 스마트에 대한 관심이 없었던 사람들도  메르세데스-벤츠 2011년 7월 16  도쿄, 롯폰기 7-8-1 (도쿄 미드타운) 건너편에 오픈하면서 사람들에 관심은 높아지고 있다. 특히 이 전시장은 레스토랑, 바. 세계 최초의 자동차 시험대까지 갖춘 시설이다. 처음 12/2012 기간까지는  제한되었다 그러나 장소에 대한 인기가 많자 확장, 재개했다, 하지만 그 당시 처음 1/18/2013년부터에서 2015년 봄 기간 동안 제한 되었다. 그러나, 판매는 계속 되었고 2/2016 야외에  이벤트 공간을 사용하여 게스트 라운지 및 메르세데스-벤츠 연결 옆 컨테이너 하우스 메르세데스-벤츠 코너, 바 등을 만들고 , G-클래스 방법을 주도, 벤츠 SUV 자동차 시뮬레이션까지 경험하는 곳이 되었다.오사카 현 오사카 그랜드 리셉션에서 건물 1 층에도  4/26/2013 년에 열었다.클래스 (W176)의 사양, CLA 클래스 (C117), S-클래스 (W222), GLA 클래스 (X156), 클래스 C (W205) 일본 공식  장소가 되었으며 시설은 독일 등 다른 나라에 없는 최초의 시설이다.

メルセデス・ベンツ/スマートや車に興味のある人たちはもちろん、これまで車そのものに興味がなかった人たちに対してもメルセデス・ベンツを知ってもらいたいという目的で2011年7月16日に東京都港区六本木7-8-1（東京ミッドタウン向かい）にオープンさせた。

当初は2012年12月までの期間限定だったが、好評だったため場所を若干青山寄りに移転し、延床面積を拡大しリニューアルオープンしたが、その時も当初は2013年1月18日から2015年春期までの期間限定の予定だった。しかし、2016年2月現在も営業は継続しており、2月10日にはメルセデス・ベンツ コネクションの隣に屋外のイベントスペースと、コンテナハウスを用いたゲストラウンジから構成される「メルセデス・ベンツ コネクション ネクストドア（Mercedes-Benz Connection NEXT DOOR）」が開設された[1]。ここでは、Gクラスを筆頭に、メルセデス製のSUV各車を疑似オフロードコースにて試乗体験できる。2013年4月26日には大阪府のグランフロント大阪北館1階にもオープンした。

2014年5月には、同年12月7日までの期間限定で東京ミッドタウン内にメルセデス・ベンツの情報発信基地となる「メルセデスミー」（Mercedes me ）をオープンした。その後、2015年7月22日より「メルセデスミー東京羽田」として東京国際空港第2旅客ターミナル内に移転してリニューアルオープンした。東京もしくはメルセデスミーは新型車発表の場としても使用され（該当日は貸切となり、施設の一般利用は不可）、Aクラス（W176）やCLAクラス（C117）、Sクラス（W222）、GLAクラス（X156）、Cクラス（W205）の日本仕様の公式発表もこの2会場のいずれかで行われた。なお同施設は日本国内のみでの企画であり、ドイツも含め、他国では展開されていない。
