골동품: 골동품은 약 100년 이상 된 물건을 말한다.

따라서 2024년에는 일반적으로 골동품으로 간주되려면 항목이

1924년 이전의 것이어야 한다.

예로는 수제, 목재 가구, 그림 또는 기타 장식 품목이 포함될 수 있다. 

빈티지: 빈티지 가구 및 기타 품목은 골동품보다 연령 요건이 더 넓다.

단, 기존 시대 또는 지나간 시대의 것처럼 느낄 수 있을 만큼 오래되어야 한다.

여기에는 약 20~99년 된 항목이 포함된다.

종종 빈티지 아이템은 향수를 불러일으키며 수집용으로도 좋다. 

복고풍: 복고풍 가구나 장식은 실제로 전혀 낡지 않을 수도 있다.

오늘날 유명 소매점에서는 복고풍 제품을 자주 발견할 수 있다.

이 품목들은 새로 제작되었지만 빈티지 또는 골동품처럼 보이도록 디자인되었다.

예를 들어, 실제로는 옛날 스타일은 아니지만

과거 스타일을 연상시키는 "빈티지" 신발 한 켤레나 "오래된" 램프를 찾을 수 있다.

 

 

Laura Besançon(b:1993, Malta)은 몰타 예술가입니다. 

몰타 대학교에서 커뮤니케이션 및 심리학 학사 학위를 취득하는 동안 

Laura는 자신의 연구 분야를 연구하면서 예술적 접근 방식으로 전환하기 시작했다.

2017~2019년에 그녀는 Royal College of Art에서 사진 석사 학위를 취득했으며

그곳에서 다각적인 작업을 발전시켰다.   

Laura의 작업의 핵심은 프로세스의 일부로 다양한 커뮤니케이션 도구를

 활용하는 재미있는 접근 방식을 통해 탐구되는 놀이, 연결성 및 장소에 대한 개념이다.

그녀는 또한 전유, 재구성, 관점 전환 및 장난스러운 행동을 통해 상황을 바꾸는 데 관심이 있다.

그녀의 작업은 또한 중간성과 겉보기 이중성의 개념을 탐구한다. 

그녀는 Goss-Michael Foundation의 2019 MTV RE:DEFINE Award 최종 후보에

 올랐으며 최근에는 참여 프로젝트 "Alone, Together"(2018~진행 중)로

2020 Aesthetica Art Prize 및 2021 Next Thing Moving Image Award를 수상했다.

Laura는 현재 2023년 1월까지 파리 Cite Internationale des Arts

(Institut Francais Residency Program x Cite des Arts)에서 상주 예술가로 활동하고 있다.

베를린 ZK/U Center of Art and Urbanistics에서 상주 예술가로 활동했다.

Antique: An antique item is something that is about 100 years old or older. 

So in 2024, an item would need to be from 1924or earlier to generally 

be considered antique. Examples could include handmade, 

wooden furnishings, paintings, or other decor items. 

Vintage: Vintage furniture and other items have a broader age

 requirement than antiques, though they must be old enough to

 feel like they are from a pre-existing time period or a bygone era. 

This would include items that are anywhere from about 20 to 99 years old. 

Oftentimes, vintage items bring back feelings of nostalgia and may also be collectible. 

Retro: When it comes to retro furniture or decor, it may not actually be old at all. 

You often will find retro pieces at popular retailers today. 

These items are newly made but designed to look like vintage or antique items. 

For example, you might find a pair of "vintage" shoes or an "old" lamp that 

evoke styles of times past, though they are not actually from an older time. 

 

Laura Besançon (b:1993, Malta) is a Maltese artist. 

During her undergraduate degree in Communications and Psychology at the University of Malta,

 Laura began to turn towards an artistic approach in researching her fields of studies. In 2017-2019 she pursued an MA Photography degree at the Royal College of Art where she developed

 a multifaceted practice.   

Central to Laura’s practice are notions of play, connectivity and place explored 

through a playful approach which often utilises various communication tools as part 

of the process. She is also interested in turning things around through 

appropriation, reconfiguration, shifting perspectives and playful action.

 Her work also explores the concept of the in-between and seeming dualities. 

She was a finalist for the 2019 MTV RE:DEFINE Award by the Goss-Michael Foundation and recently, the 2020 Aesthetica Art Prize

 and the 2021 Next Thing Moving Image Award with 

her participatory project “Alone, Together” (2018- ongoing).

Laura is currently a resident artist at Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris 

(Institut Francais Residency Program x Cite des arts) until January 2023. 

She was a resident artist at ZK/U Center of Art and Urbanistics in Berlin between March and May 2022.

She is currently also lead artist, as part of the School Playscape project. An artistic and co-design project resulting in a community garden and playscape. 

 

 

 

アンティーク：アンティークとは100年以上前に作られたものを指します。

ローラ・ブザンソン (Laura Besançon、

1993 年マルタ生まれ) はマルタのアーティストです。 
マルタ大学でコミュニケーションと心理学の学士号を取得している間に、
 ローラは、自分の研究分野を研究する際に、
