Sion을 가기 위하여 Visp에서 갈아타야 하는데 눈이 엄청나게 내렸다.

Transited the train with Visp to go to Sion.The winter 　heavy snow was incredible.

시온은 스위스 남부의 발레 지방의 기초 지방 자치 단체(코뮌 뮤니시팔)로, 이 지방의 주도로, 론 강 왼쪽 은행에 위치하고 있으며, 스위스에서 가장 많은 와인 산지로 발레산 와인의 집산지가 되고 있다.,독일어 이름은 지텐(Sitten), 라틴어 이름은 세두눔(Sedunum).

There are 14 buildings or sites in Sion that are listed as Swiss heritage site of national significance. The secular buildings include the Archives de l’Etat du Valais, the Archives and Museum of the Bishop of Sion and the cathedral, the town hall, Majorie Castle, La Majorie on Rue des châteaux 19, Le Vidomnat on Place de la Majorie 15, the Maison Supersaxo, the Médiathèque Valais Sion, the Cantonal Fine Arts and History Museums and the ruins of Tourbillon Castle. The religious buildings on the list are the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, the Capuchin monastery and library, the church of the Notre-Dame de Valère and the church of St-Théodule. The remains of a neolithic settlement and the modern city of Sion are also on the list. The entire town of Sion and the village of Bramois are both part of the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites

A characteristic of Sion is its medieval townscape, dominated by the hills Valère (610 m (2,000 ft)) with the Basilique de Valère (12th–13th century), and Tourbillon (658 m (2,159 ft)) with the ruins of the Tourbillon Castle. The Valère Basilica is the church on top of the southern of the two mottes, at the east end of the old town. It houses the oldest playable organ in the world, which was built in the 1430s

Valere

There are castles and churches on the hill overlooking the town of Zion; inside Valere Castle, built in the 12th/13th century as a temple, contains a state history museum; within the ramparts was the residence of members of the Bishops' Suffrage.,The Church of Notre Dame de Valer was built in the 12th century; the church's wooden organ dates from the 15th century, and is the oldest in the world as a playable organ.

tourbeillon

The hills lined with Valere; the ruins of the castle and bishops on the hills; the castle's initiation was in use as a keep base since the early 14th century; as a strategic base, the castle was built by the Bishop of Zion at the end of the 13th century.,The Great Fire which struck Zion in 1788 also destroyed Tourbyon Castle.

トゥールビヨン

ヴァレールに並び立つ丘。丘の上に城と司教館の廃墟がある。城の着工は14世紀初頭だが、この丘は先史時代から保塁として使われていた。戦略上の拠点として、13世紀末、シオンの司教によって城が築かれた。1788年シオンを襲った大火により、トゥールビヨン城も破壊された。

이번 여행에는 제네바. 체리마트. 인터라켄은 제외했다. 여러번 가 본곳이고 겨울철 스키어들로 붐비기 때문이다.
