이란 축제

이란은 서남아시아에 있는 이슬람 공화국이다. 공식 명칭은 이란 이슬람 공화국이며, 1935년 전에는 페르시아로 알려져 있었다. 옛날부터 이란은 군주제를 유지하고 있었으나 군주제는 시작된 지 약 1400년 만에 폐지되었으며 현재는 공화제 국가다.

이란은 민영 방송이 헌법으로 금지되어 있어서, 국영 방송인 이란 이슬람 공화국 방송이 방송을 독점하고 있다. 1980년대 후반부터 2005년 무하마드 하타미 대통령이 퇴임하기까지 개혁파 집권 기간에는 국영통신 IRNA, 이란학생통신(ISNA), 파르시타임스 같은 언론들이 파르시와 영어로 활발하게 안팎의 소식을 전했으며 오히려 국영, 관영 언론들이 개혁과 민주주의의 대변자가 되기도 했다. 이 때문에 이슬람권에선 역설적으로 언론이 자유로운 나라에 들기도 했다. 그러나 이에 대한 보수파의 반격으로 법원이 제동을 걸어 2002년, 2003년 물리적 충돌이 벌어졌으며 2005년 보수파 마무드 아마디네자드 대통령이 집권한 이후로 통제가 강화됐다.

Tehran is the country's capital and largest city, as well as its leading economic center.

イランは、西アジア・中東のイスラム共和制国家。ペルシア、ペルシャともいう。北にアゼルバイジャン、アルメニア、トルクメニスタン、東にパキスタン、アフガニスタン、西にトルコ、イラクと境を接する。また、ペルシア湾をはさんでクウェート、サウジアラビア、バーレーン、カタール、アラブ首長国連邦に面する。首都はテヘラン。1979年のルーホッラー・ホメイニー師によるイラン・イスラーム革命により、宗教上の最高指導者が国の最高権力を持つイスラム共和制を樹立しており、シーア派イスラームが国教である。世界有数の石油の産出地でもある。
