왜 영국의 저명한 사회자 모건은 아침 프로그램을 떠났을까?

영국 민방 ITV의 프로그램 진행자 피어스 모건 씨가

영국 왕실 서섹스 공작 해리 왕자의 아내 메건 비는 신용할 수 없다고

프로그램 내에서 발언한 뒤 방송 중 나갔다

이 말에 대해 아몰 라잔 BBC 미디어 담당 편집장이 설명한다.

모건은 자살도 생각할 정도로 정신적으로 힘들었다는 메건비의 발언에

대해 한마디도 믿지 않는다며 방송에서 강력 반발했다.

게다가 프로그램 속에서 그것을 비판하자 분노도 드러나

스튜디오를 한때 나가기도 했다.

영국 정보통신청은 모건의 메건비 비판에 대해 4만1000건의 불만이 접수돼

조사에 나섰다고 발표했고 이후 ITV는 모건씨의 비판이 있었지만 실제

모건이 돌아와야 한다는 서명이 20만이 넘는 것은 결국 영국민의 심중을 알게

되는 좋은 계기다.

 

 

메한 마클과 해리 왕자의 오프라 윈프리와의 폭탄선언 인터뷰는

전 세계에 분노를 불러일으켰고, 몇 번의 폭로로

서섹스와 왕실을 지지하는 유명한 얼굴들이 있었다. 메건과 해리는

쇼 진행자 오프라를 잡기 위해 회사를 그만둔 이유를 밝혔지만

굿모닝 브리튼의 발표자인 피어스 모건은 메건을 믿지 않는다고 말했다.

 

 

가디언 조사에 의하면 영국 국민 65% 좋은  인터뷰가 아니었다고

 생각한다고 헸으며 매건에 대한 부정적 이미지가 더 굳혀지고 있다.

더구나 흑인 저널리스트를 제외하곤 모든 저널리스트들이 

모건과 같은 생각이다. 왜 화가 나는지를 먼저 생각해야 한다.
지금 코로나 사태로 많은 지구촌 사람들이 죽어가고 있는데

오프라 쇼에 나와서 70억이나 받고 헛소리를 해대고 있으며

흑인 차별 발언을 하는 발상이 제정신 아닌 느낌이다.

오죽하면 아침 생방송 프로에 모건이 화가나서

뛰쳐나갈 정도인가 생각해야 한다. 지금 지구촌 사람들은 죽어가고 있다.
많은 이들이 도산하고 실업하는  와중에 왕실 차별 타령이나 해대고

이혼한 부친까지 합세하여 돈을 받고 인터뷰를 하는 것을

보는 많은 영국민의 생각의 대변이라고 본다. 

아직도 메건을 옹호하는 사람들이 있다면 정신 나갔다고 생각한다.

자신들이 다이애나 유산으로 1천억이나 받고 호화 생활에

경호원까지 두고 있는 주제에 헛소리를 해야 되겠는가.

연극이라도 차라리 지구촌을 돕는다는 

아름다운 내용이었다면 얼마나 좋았을까. 생각된다.
매건은 영원한 악녀의 역할을 충실히 잘하고 있다고 본다.

Pierce Morgan, the broadcaster of ITV, said in a show that

Princess Meghan, the wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex,

was uncredited and then stepped down.

Morgan strongly opposed the show, saying that

he did not believe in a word about Princess Meghan's remarks

When he was criticized for the program,

he was angry and temporarily left the studio.

The British Information and Communications Agency

(Offcom) announced that it had begun an investigation

after receiving 41,000 complaints about Morgan's criticism of Princess Meghan.

After that, ITV revealed Morgan's descent.

Ireland’s vaccine task force has recommended temporarily suspending 

the rollout of the AstraZeneca coronavirus jab, 

following reports of blood clots in adults who received the shot.

“The National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC)

 has recommended that the administration of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca be temporarily deferred from this morning,

” Ireland’s deputy chief medical officer Ronan Glynn said in a statement on Sunday.
