2021년 1월 21일 팔라우 공화국 신임 대통령 취임식

 

팔라우의 대통령 당선자는 태평양에서 중국의 "폭주"에 맞서겠다고 맹세했고,

이 작은 군도 국가는 "진정한 친구", 미국, 대만과의 동맹을 지킬 것이라고 말했다.

슈퍼마켓 주인이자 유명한 팔라우안 가문의 두 번 상원의원인

52세의 수란젤 휘프스 주니어가 1월 21일 새 대통령으로 취임하여

처남 토미 레멘게소 주니어의 뒤를 이었다.

 

 

 

Palau’s president-elect has vowed to stand up 

to Chinese “bullying” in the Pacific, 

and said the small archipelago nation will stand by its alliances with 

“true friends”, the United States and Taiwan.

Fifty-two-year-old Surangel Whipps Jr, 

a supermarket owner and two-time senator

 from a prominent Palauan family,  

sworn in as the new president on 21 January, 

succeeding his brother-in-law Tommy Remengesau Jr.

 

 

パラオの大統領当選者は、太平洋で中国の「暴行」に対抗すると誓いし、
この小さな諸島国は、「本当の友人」、米国、台湾との同盟を守ると述べた。

スーパーマーケットのオーナーであり、有名なパラオアン家の二度上院議員
52歳のスランジェル・ホイップス・ジュニアが1月21日、新しい大統領に就任して
義理の弟、トミー・レメンゲッソ・ジュニアが続いた。

 

 

팔라우는 대만의 15개 외교 동맹국 중 하나이며,

태평양에 남아있는 국가는 4개 국가 중 하나다

(솔로몬 제도와 키리바시가 2019년에 전환된 후).

대만 외무장관 조셉 우는 이번 주 윅스 대통령 취임식에 참석했으며

대만과 팔라우에서 코비드 프리로 남아 있지만 여행 거품에 대해 논의하고 있다.

그러나 대만에 대한 팔라우의 충성은 결과적으로 없었다.

국가는 관광 의존 경제를 손상시키는 중국 관광객의 비공식 여행 금지의 대상이 되었다.

 

 

Palau is one of Taiwan’s 15 remaining diplomatic allies,

 and one of only four remaining in the Pacific 

(after Solomon Islands and Kiribati switched in 2019). 

As a pointed show of support, Taiwan’s foreign minister, Joseph Wu,  

attended  Whipps’s presidential inauguration this week, 

and the two administrations have been in discussions over a travel bubble,

 given low cases numbers in Taiwan and Palau , which remains Covid-free.

But Palau’s allegiance to Taiwan has not been 

without consequence: the nation is subject to an unofficial travel ban 

for Chinese tourists which has hurt the country’s tourism-dependent economy.

 

 

 

パラオは台湾の15の残りの外交同盟国の1つであり、

太平洋に残っているのはわずか4国のうちの1国

(ソロモン諸島とキリバスが2019年に切り替えた後)である。

台湾のジョセフ・ウー外相は、今週のウィップスの大統領就任式に出席し、

台湾とパラオではコビッドフリーのままでいるが、旅行バブルについて議論している。

しかし、台湾に対するパラオの忠誠は結果的にはなかった。

国家は、観光依存の経済を傷つけている

中国人観光客の非公式旅行禁止の対象となっている。

 

 

항상 미국과 같은 대통령 취임식을 갖는 팔라우 신임 대통령의 

취임식에 주 팔라우 일본 대사, 주 팔라우 미국 대사를 비롯한

팔라우 여러 의원들과 관계된 자들의 취임식을 가졌으며
 코로나로 참석 불가능한 사람들은 모두 유튜브 생방송으로 축하를 하였다. 

팔라우는 천혜 자연을 고수하는 나라이며 작은 섬나라지만

 자연환경에 대한 관심이 높은 나라이기에 

무작정 관광객을 받지 않는 고집스러운 면도 있다.

미국과 일본의 대전이 일어난 곳이지만 

여전히 친일 국가이며 많은 일본인이 좋아하는 나라다. 
팔라우의 미래는 관광산업이 주류가 되지만 

이민 불가능하고 국적 불가능한 나라에 속한다. 
새로운 대통령 탄생으로 더 발전적이며

아름다운 섬나라를 유지하기를 기원한다.

But still  many Japanese people likes palau.
Palau's future belongs to a country where the tourism industry 

becomes mainstream but is can not get it Palau nationality.
Hope to maintain a developed 

and beautiful island country with the birth of a new president.

 

 

常に米国のような大統領就任式を持つパラオ新大統領の就任式に

週パラオ日本大使、週パラオ米国大使をはじめとする

パラオ複数議員と関係者の就任式を持ちコロナに

出席不可能な人々は、すべてYouTubeの生放送でお祝いをした。

パラオは天恵自然を固守する国であり、

小さな島国だが、自然環境への関心が高い国だから

むやみに観光客を受けない頑固な面もある。

米国と日本の対戦が起きたところだが、

まだ親日国であり、多くの日本人が好きな国だ。
パラオの未来は、観光産業が主流になるが、

移民不可能で国籍不可能な国に属する。
新しい大統領の誕生により発展的で

美しい島国を維持することを願っている。
