발레타 대학 교회는 Honoris Causa 학위 수여식을 주최하여 Philip Sciberras 판사(사후)와 

만화가 Joe Sacco에게 명예 박사 학위를 수여했다.
이 행사는 2023년 11월 17일 금요일 16시에 시작되었으며

몰타 대통령 조지 벨라 박사가 참석했습니다.
이날 필립 스키버라스 판사의 딸 라라 변호사가 화답했다.

몰타의 Żebbuġ 출신인 Dr Sciberras는 1979년에 당선된 후 국회의원으로도 활동했다.

1981년에 그는 6번째 선거구에서 선출되었다.
Philip Sciberras는 그의 고향인 Żebbuġ의 초등학교에서 공부한 후 St Aloysius College와

University of Malta에서 공부했다.

1973년 변호사를 졸업하고 2002년 12월 9일 판사로 임명됐다.

Sciberras는 Moviment Qawmien Letterarju의 창립자 중 한 명이었다.

그는 Priżmi ma' Dun Lawrenz Cachia(1968),

Dawl fil-Persjani(1972), Mandala(1984), Mirja(2014) 등 여러 권의 책을 출판했다.

 

 

The University Church of Valletta hosted the Honoris Causa degree ceremony,

 awarding honorary doctorates to Judge Philip Sciberras

 (posthumously) and cartoonist Joe Sacco.
The event began at 16:00 on Friday 17 November 2023 and was attended

by the President of Malta, Dr. George Vella.
On this day, Judge Philip Skiverras' daughter Lara responded.

Honorable Judge Philip Sciberras has died at the age of 77 after a long battle with cancer.
Dr Sciberras, from Żebbuġ, Malta, also served as a member of the National Assembly

after being elected in 1979. In 1981, he was elected from the 6th district.
Philip Sciberras studied at primary school in his hometown of Żebbuġ

and then at St Aloysius College and the University of Malta.

He graduated from the bar in 1973 and was appointed as a judge on December 9, 2002.
Sciberras was one of the founders of Moviment Qawmien Letterarju.

He published several books, including Priżmi ma' Dun Lawrenz Cachia (1968),

Dawl fil-Persjani (1972), Mandala (1984), and Mirja (2014).

フィリップ・シベラス判事（死後）と漫画家のジョー・サッコに名誉博士号を授与した。
このイベントは2023年11月17日金曜日の16:00に始まり、

マルタ大統領のジョージ・ベラ博士が出席しました。
この日、フィリップ・スキベラス判事の娘ララさんが応じた。
