모든 그림에는 영혼처럼 작가의 마음이 있다.

매우 특별한 작품을 만났다. 나무만 그리는 작가인데 

고독, 슬픔, 철학 등이 느껴지는 회색빛의 유화가 눈에 들어왔다.

마치 안개속으로 빨려 들어가는 이 그림들, 그리고 주인공을 만나다.

 

Ailbhe Barrett는 비유적이고 개념적인 예술가로 일하는 수상 경력에 빛나는 전문 화가다.

제 188회 RHA 연례 전시회에서 Ailbhe는 ESB Keating Award 및

Silver Medal으로 Presence를 위한 뛰어난 예술 작품으로 동료 인정을 받았다.

최근 그래픽 스튜디오 더블린에서 Ailbhe는 에칭, 드로잉 및 페인팅 사이의 관계를 탐구하고

인쇄가 현대 미술과 그 역사를 통해 중요한 장소를 탐구한다.

18 세까지 홈 스쿨링; 거기에서 풀 타임으로 그림을 그렸다.

처음에는 유화의 역사적 기술에 특별한 관심을 가졌다.

역사의 마스터 화가들의 작품과 더 많은 현대 작품을 보는 것은이 초기 단계의 중요한 부분이었으며,

확립된 예술가들과의 상호 작용과 지도였다.

나중에 Limerick Printmakers와 Graphic Studio Dublin에서 에칭, 드로잉 및 페인팅 간의 관계를

탐구하면서 판화를 연구하면서 인쇄가 현대 미술과 역사를 통해 중요한 장소 뿐만 아니라

자체 작품에서의 위치를 차지했다.

Ailbhe Barrett is an award-winning professional painter working as both a figurative and conceptual artist. 

At 188th RHA Annual Exhibition Ailbhe earned peer recognition

 with the ESB Keating Award and Silver Medal for an outstanding work for Presence. 

Lately in the Graphic Studio Dublin, Ailbhe explores the relationship between etching, 

drawing and painting and the important place print has had in contemporary art and throughout its history.

Biography

Home schooled to age 18; from there, took up painting full time. Initially had a particular interest in historical techniques in oil painting; viewing the work of history’s master painters and more contemporary works was an important part of this early stage, as was interaction with, and guidance from, established artists. At a later stage studied printmaking, in Limerick Printmakers and Graphic Studio Dublin, exploring the relationship between etching, drawing and painting, the important place print has had in contemporary art and throughout its history, as well as its place in own body of work.
