계속되는 변종 코로나 바이러스 -Lambda

 

아직도 코로나는 끝나지 않았다.

처음은 노인이나 지병이 있는 사람에게 치명적이었는데

이번 람다는 20대 전후가 상당히 사망하는 새로운 코로나 변종이다.

마스크를 벗고 축제 분위기를 가진 유럽과 백신조차 맞지 않은

20대 30대에 타격을 주고 있는 현상이다.

 

 

런던 [영국], 7월 7일 (ANI) : '람다'라고 불리는 새로운 COVID-19 

균주는 델타 변종보다 훨씬 더 위험하다고 

영국 보건부는 지난 4주 동안 30개국 이상에서 검출되었다고 덧붙였다.

보건부는 24일 트위터를 통해 람다 변종은 세계에서 사망률이 가장 높은 

페루에서 유래한 것으로 알려졌다고 더 스타는 보도했다.
또한 보건부는 호주 뉴스 포털 news.com.au의 보고서를 연계하여

람다 변종이 영국에서 검출되었다고 보도했다.

 

포털에 따르면 현재까지 영국에서 람다 변종 6건이 검출됐다.
그러나 연구원들은 이 변종이 "델타 변종보다 더 전염성이 있을 수 있다"고

우려하고 있다고 스타는 보도했다.
유로뉴스는 팬아메리칸보건기구(PAHO)를 인용,

람다가 5월과 6월 페루에서 보고된 코로나바이러스

사례 샘플의 82% 가까이를 차지하고 있다고 보도했다.
최근 영국의 공중 보건 잉글랜드는 람다에 의해 야기된 소수의 사례가

이 나라에서 발견되었으며

"전염성이 증가하거나 항체 중화에 대한 저항성이 증가할 수 있다"고 인식했다.

 

한편, 람다 변종의 출현은 인도에서 처음 발견된 델타 변종과의

 유럽에서의 전투 중에 나온 것이다.

앞서 세계보건기구(WHO)는 델타 변종을

London [UK], July 7 (ANI): A new COVID-19 strain called 'Lambda' is 

much more dangerous than the Delta variant,

 said the UK Health Ministry adding that it has been detected in more than 

30 countries in the past four weeks.

On Monday, the Health Ministry tweeted, "The Lambda strain was reported

 to have originated from Peru, the country 

with the highest mortality rate in the world," reported The Star.

It further reported that the Health Ministry had linked the report by the 

Australian news portal news.com.au saying 

the Lambda strain had been detected in the United Kingdom.

 

According to the portal, six cases of the 

Lambda strain have been detected in the UK to date.
However, the researchers are worried that this variant may be

"more infectious than the Delta variant", The Star reported.

Lambda accounts for nearly 82 percent of the coronavirus case samples

 reported during May and June in Peru, Euro News reported citing 

the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO).
Recently, Public Health England in the UK reported a handful of cases caused by

Lambda had been detected in the country and recognised it as having

"a potential increased transmissibility

or possible increased resistance to neutralizing antibodies".

 

Meanwhile, the appearance of the Lambda variant comes amid

 a battle in Europe against the Delta variant
