아일랜드에 사는 외국인 학생

아일랜드에는 5세 이상인 96,497명의 비 아일랜드 외국인 학생이 있었으며

2016년에는 아일랜드에 거주 가장 큰 집단은

폴란드(2만2450명), 영국 국민(11704명),

리투아니아인(7,133), 브라질인(4,632) 순이었다.
2016년부터 2019년은 루마니아. 브라질, 폴란드로 바뀌었다.

 

이들 외국인 중에서 

아일랜드인과  마찬가지로 가장 인기있는 연구 분야는

사회 과학, 비즈니스 및 법률이었으며

이 분야에서 자격을 갖춘 외국인은 59,706명으로

전체 응답자의 29.2%를 차지했다.

엔지니어링, 제조 및 건설은 아일랜드인이 아닌

모든 응답자의 20.8%를 차지하는 42,550명의 사람들로

다음으로 인기 있는 직업이였다.

이는 아일랜드인의 같은 비율(16.9%)보다 높았다.
수학과 컴퓨터 과학에 대한 자격을 갖춘 22,112명의

비 아일랜드인이  질문에 대답한 사람들의 10.8%를 차지한다.

 

아일랜드에서 가장 큰 유럽 국적 중 18-24세의 교육 참여율은

루마니아 국민(16.4%)과 라트비아 국민(27.5%) 중에서 가장 낮았다.

이는 2016년과 2019년 이들 국적의 노동력 참여율이 그에 상응하는 것을 반영한다.

즉 교육보다는 노동을 위하여 아일랜드에 온 사람들이다. 

 

 

There were 96,497 non-Irish national students and pupils aged 5 years and

 over resident in Ireland in 2016 accounting for 18 per cent of all non-Irish nationals.  The largest group were Poles (22,450 persons)

 followed by UK nationals (11,704), Lithuanian (7,133) and Brazilian (4,632).

 

Similar to Irish nationals, the most popular field of study was 

Social Sciences, Business and Law with 59,706 persons holding 

a qualification in this area representing 29.2 per cent 

of all respondents. Engineering, Manufacturing 

and Construction was the next most popular category

 with 42,550 persons representing 20.8 per cent of all non-Irish respondents. This was higher than the same rate for Irish nationals (16.9%).
There were 22,112 non-Irish nationals with a qualification in mathematics

 and computer science, accounting for 10.8 per cent of those who answered the question. 

 

Amongst the largest European nationalities in Ireland, 

the education participation rate of 18-24 year olds 

was lowest among Romanian nationals (16.4%) 

and Latvian nationals (27.5%). This reflects the correspondingly high rates

 of labour force participation amongst these nationalities in 2016.
