바오밥 나무의 속 중 하나인 바오밥 나무의 이름은 16세기에 북아프리카를 여행한 이탈리아 식물학자가 바 오밥이라고 저서에 쓴 것이 시작. 원래는 아라비아어의 부 후브브브에서 유래했다는 설이 있다.

There is a theory that it originally came from the Arabic language of Bo Hubbou.

バオバブは樹木の属の一つ「バオバブ」の名は、16世紀に北アフリカを旅したイタリア人植物学者が「バ・オバブ」と著書に記したのが始まり。もとはアラビア語のブー・フブーブ（種がたくさんあるもの）から来ているという説がある。

여우원숭이

마다가스카르 섬과 코모로 제도 등 주변의 몇몇 외딴 섬에만 서식한다.이들 여우원숭이류는 과거(6000만~5000만년 전) 아프리카 대륙에 서식하던 것이 유목에 잡히는 등 마다가스카르 섬 주변에 표착해 독자적인 진화를 거쳐 현재에 이르렀다는 연구보고가 있다.

Lemuriformes

It is found only on the island of Madagascar and several other isolated islands around it, including the Comoros. Research shows that these lemurs, once inhabited on the African continent (from 60 to 50 million years ago), have drifted around Madagascar Island, where they have evolved independently.

Madagascar Island is the fourth largest island in the world. The total area of Madagascar is 587,041km2, the 46th largest country in the world. To the east, there is a steep cliff, which has a central plateau and faces a rainforest.
Agriculture is the central industry, and exports are vanilla, rice and sugar. It produces 60 percent of the world's vanilla production.
