아일랜드 독립 선언문 7인

 

 

 

더블린 어느 카페는 아직도 이들 7인을 기억하는 사진이 있다.

 

공화국 선포(아일랜드어: Forógra na Poblachta 포로그라 너 포블라크타,

영어: Proclamation of the Republic)는

 1916년 4월 24일 부활절 봉기 때 아일랜드 의용군과 

아일랜드 시민군이 배포한 문서이다. 

1916년 선포(1916 Proclamation) 또는

 부활절 선포(Easter Proclamation)라고도 한다.

스스로를 아일랜드 공화국 임시정부라고 자칭하던

 아일랜드 공화주의 형제단 군사평의회는 

본 문서를 통해 아일랜드가 영국에서 독립했음을 선언했다. 

시인 패트릭 피어스가 더블린 중앙우체국 앞에서 

선언문을 낭독한 것이 봉기의 시작이었다.
선언문에 서명한 사람들은 서명 순서대로 다음과 같으며,

이들은 봉기가 진압된 뒤 모두 처형당했다.

The Proclamation of the Republic (Irish: Forógra na Poblachta), 

also known as the 1916 Proclamation or the Easter Proclamation, 

was a document issued by the Irish Volunteers 

and the Irish Citizen Army during the Easter Rising in Ireland, 

which began on 24 April 1916. In it, 

the Military Council of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, styling itself 

the ’Provisional Government of the Irish Republic’, 

proclaimed Ireland's independence from the United Kingdom.

outside the General Post Office (GPO)

 on Sackville Street (now called O'Connell Street), 

Dublin's main thoroughfare, marked the beginning of the Rising. 

The proclamation was modelled on a similar independence proclamation issued 

during the 1803 rebellion by Robert Emmet.

共和国宣言(アイルランド語:フォログラ・ナ・ポブラッハタ・ポログラ・ナ・ポブラッハタ、

英語:共和国のプロクラメーション)は、1916年4月24日にイースター蜂起時に

アイルランドの義勇軍とアイルランド市民軍によって配布された文書です。

1916年の宣言(1916年の宣言)またはイースター宣言とも呼ばれます。

自らをアイルランド共和国臨時政府と自称していたアイルランドの共和党兄弟団軍事評議会は、

本文書を使用して、アイルランドが英国から独立したことを宣言した。

詩人パトリック・ピアスがダブリン中央郵便局の前で

宣言を朗読したのが蜂起の始まりだった。
宣言に署名した人は、署名順に次のようにおり、

これらは蜂起が鎮圧された後、すべて処刑された。
