조나단 킴(Jonathan Kim, 1984년생)은

 미국 해군 중위(그리고 전 씰), 의사, NASA 우주비행사다.
캘리포니아 태생인 김은 2000년대 초 미국 해군 특수부대에 입대해

 실버스타와 그의 커미션을 받았다.,미국 선원인 김 위원장은 수학 학사

(약칭 우등생)와 의과 박사, 2017년 NASA 우주비행사 그룹 22에 합격하기도 했다.,

그는 2020년에 우주 비행사 훈련을 마쳤으며

2020년 1월 현재 Artemis 프로그램으로 비행 임무를 기다리고 있다.

 

 

 

Jonathan Kim (born 1984) is an American US Navy

 lieutenant (and former SEAL), physician, and NASA astronaut.

A born-and-raised Californian, Kim joined the United States Navy SEALs

 in the early 2000s before earning a Silver Star and his commission.

While a US sailor, Kim also received his Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude)

in mathematics, his Doctor of Medicine, and an acceptance to NASA Astronaut Group 22 in 2017.

He completed his astronaut training in 2020

and was awaiting a flight assignment with the Artemis program as of January 2020.

Jonathan Kim was born in Los Angeles in 1984. Kim's parents emigrated

from South Korea to the United States in the early 1980s;

his father scarcely completed a high-school education, the family opened

a liquor store in South Los Angeles after arriving in the US, and his mother worked

 as a substitute elementary school teacher while raising Kim

and his younger brother. In a 2018 interview with Annals of Emergency Medicine,

Kim described himself as "the epitome of that quiet kid

who just lacked complete self-confidence." In 2020,

The Chosun news paper reported that an adolescent K

im had been the victim of domestic violence at the hands of his father;

 in February 2002, after threatening his family with a gun,

the Kim patriarch was shot to death in his attic by police.

While studying at Harvard Medical School, Kim met and was

inspired by astronaut–physician Scott E. Parazynski to apply for Astronaut Candidacy.

On June 7, 2017 Kim was one of twelve candidates chosen from a pool of over

18,300 applicants to join NASA Astronaut Group 22. He reported for duty on 21 August 2017,

and graduated from training on 10 January 2020. According to NASA,

Kim will work in the Astronaut Office while awaiting a flight assignment with the Artemis program

대개 어렵게 미국 이민 간 2세들의 가정처럼 부친의 폭력으로 인한 고통이 있었고

그 부친은 경찰에 의해 살해되는 참극까지 있었지만 그는 매우 성공한 인물이 되었다.

세계 곳곳에서 이민 간 한국인 중에 가장 우수한 사람으로 필자가 추천하고픈 사람이다.
아무리 어려운 일이 있어도 노력하여 성공하기를 바라는 마음이다.

There was pain caused by the violence of his father,

as in the home of the usually difficult United States 2nd  immigrant generations ,

whose father was scourge to be killed by the police, but he became a very successful figure.

He is the best person among Korean immigrants around

the world No matter how difficult it is, I hope that I will succeed in effort.

 

 

 

 

移民2世として最も注目されているジョナサン・キムは、

米国海軍中尉、内科医、宇宙飛行士、有望な主人です。

通常困難米国移民2世の家庭のように父親の暴力による苦痛があった、

その父親は警察によって殺害される惨劇まであったが、彼は非常に成功した人物となった。

世界各地で移民韓国人の中で最も優れた人で、筆者が推薦したい人だ。
いくら難しいことがあっても努力して成功することを願う心である。
