벨기에 주일대사 송별회

대부분 정식 외교관 출신으로 대사임무는 4년 전후다. 유럽의 대사들은 정확한 임기를 마친다.

주일 대사로 4년의 임기를 마치고 정년하지만 미국으로 명예로 총영사를 하게 되다.

He will serve as ambassador to Japan and retire after four years of service,

but will serve as consul general to the U.S. with honors.

駐日大使に4年の任期を終え、定年しているが、米国に名誉で、総領事になる。
