더블린 트리니티 칼리지,UCD

 

더블린에는 여러 대학이 있다. 가장 유명한 트리니티 대학은

역사적으로도 유명하며 학비 비싸기로도 유명하다.

법학이 가장 유명하며 도심 한 복판에 있어서 관광객이 넘친다.

특히 도서관은 유명하여 입장료를 받는 곳이다.

필자가 이곳에서 로스쿨 졸업한 곳이다.

 

UCD는 캠퍼스가 크기로 유명하며 특히 의대는 말레시아 대학과

프로모션으로 3,4학년이 아일랜드에서 공부하는 시스템이며

학교 시설이 매우 우수하고 좋은 편이다. 

그밖에도 더블린 칼리지. IDC 등이 있으나 필자는 이 두 대학을 권한다.

 

 

 

트리니티 칼리지(아일랜드어: Coláiste na Tríonóide)는 공식적으로 

더블린 근처에 있는 엘리자베스 여왕의 거룩하고 분리되지 않은 삼위일체 대학으로

아일랜드 더블린에 있는 연구 대학인 더블린 대학의 유일한 구성 대학이다.

엘리자베스 1세 여왕은 옥스퍼드와 케임브리지의 대학을 모델로 한

"대학의 어머니"라는 뜻으로 1592년에 이 대학을 설립했지만,

이들 부속 기관과는 달리 단 하나의 대학만 설립되었다.

따라서 "Trinity College" 및 "University of Dublin"이라는

명칭은 일반적으로 실제적인 목적에서 동의어다.

트리니티(Trinity)는 아일랜드에서 가장 오래된 대학이며 

연구 중심 센터로서의 명성을 유지하고 있다.

학문적으로는 23개 학교로 구성된 3개의 학부로 나누어져 있으며

학부 및 대학원 수준 모두에서 학위 및 디플로마 과정을 제공한다.

입학 절차는 학문적 장점만을 기반으로 하며

법학, 문학 및 인문학 프로그램으로 잘 알려져 있다.

트리니티 칼리지 더블린(Trinity College Dublin)은

 영국과 아일랜드의 7개 고대 대학 중 하나이며

케임브리지의 세인트 존스 칼리지와 옥스퍼드의 오리엘 칼리지의 자매 대학이다.

통합을 통해 더블린, 옥스퍼드 또는 캠브리지 졸업생은 추가 시험 없이

다른 두 학교 중 하나에서 동등한 학위를 수여받을 수 있다.

이 대학은 창립 헌장에 명시된 대로 "학장, 펠로우, 재단 장학생 및

기타 이사회 구성원"에 의해 합법적으로 통합되었다.

 

 

 

유니버시티 칼리지 더블린(일반적으로 UCD라고 함)

(아일랜드어: Coláiste na hOllscoile, Baile Átha Cliath)은

 아일랜드 더블린에 있는 공립 연구 대학이자

아일랜드 국립 대학교의 회원 기관이다.

38,417명의 학생이 재학 중인 이 대학은 아일랜드에서 가장 큰 대학이며

아일랜드에서 가장 권위 있는 대학 중 하나다.  

9명의 노벨상 수상자가 UCD 동문과 현직 및 전직 직원이다.

또한 4명의 Taoisigh(총리)와  아일랜드3명의 대통령이

1명의 인도 대통령도 UCD를 졸업했다.

 of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin, is the sole constituent college of the University of Dublin,

a research university in Dublin, Ireland.

Queen Elizabeth I founded the college in 1592 as "the mother of a university"

that was modelled after the collegiate universities of Oxford and Cambridge

, but unlike these affiliated institutions,

only one college was ever established; as such, the designations

"Trinity College" and "University of Dublin" are usually synonymous for practical purposes.
Trinity is Ireland's oldest university and retains a reputation as a research-intensive centre.

Academically, it is divided into three faculties comprising 23 schools,

offering degree and diploma courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.]

The admission procedure is based exclusively on academic merit,[

with the college being known for programs in law, literature and humanities.

Trinity College Dublin is one of the seven ancient universities of Britain and Ireland

and it is a sister college to both St John's College, Cambridge, and Oriel College, Oxford.

By incorporation, a graduate of Dublin, Oxford or Cambridge can be conferred

the equivalent degree at either of the other two without further examination.

Fellows, Foundation Scholars and other members of the Board," as outlined by its founding charter

 

 

University College Dublin (commonly referred to as UCD)
