하늘에 가까운 나라 레소토

일본 외무성에 따르면 2016년 현재 세계에는 196개국의 국가가 있다고 보고되고 있다.

물론 그 중에는 아직 우리가 모르는 미지의 문화와 경관이 숨겨진 나라도 많이 존재한다.

이번에는 그런 미지의 나라들로부터, 아직 일본에서는 깊이 알지 못하는 나라"레소토 왕국"에 대해서 소개한다.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are as many as 196 countries reported to be in the world as of 2016.Of course, there are many countries among them where the unknown culture and scenery we do not know yet are hidden.  This time,  will introduce to  country called the Kingdom of Lesotho, which has not yet been deeply known in Japan from such unknown countries.

外務省によると、2016年現在において世界には196カ国もの国があると報告されています。もちろんその中にはまだ私たちが知らない未知の文化や景色が隠された国も多く存在します。今回はそのような未知の国々から、まだ日本では深く知られていない国「レソト王国」について紹介します。

레소토 왕국은 남아프리카 공화국 영토에 둘러싸여 있는 나라로, 수도는 마세루이다. 국명 "레소토"는 소토어로 "소토족의 나라"를 뜻한다.

1966년 영국으로부터 독립한 입헌군주 국가이며 핑크 다이아몬드가 나오는 나라 댐 건설로 남 아프리카에 물을 공급하고 있다.

Lesotho is an enclaved country in southern Africa. It is just over 30,000 km2 (11,583 sq mi) in size and has a population of around 2 million. Its capital and largest city is Maseru. Previously known as Basutoland, Lesotho declared independence from the United Kingdom on 4 October 1966. It is a member of the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations and the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The name Lesotho translates roughly into "the land of the people who speak Sesotho".

レソト王国は、アフリカ南部に位置する立憲君主制をとる国家。イギリス連邦加盟国のひとつで、周囲を南アフリカ共和国に囲まれた世界最南の内陸国でもある。首都はマセルで、1966年にイギリスから独立した。非同盟中立を宣言している。

레소토 왕국은 아프리카에 위치한 아주 작은 나라다."Lesotho"로 표기되어 있는 곳이 레소토 왕국이다,

주위를 남 아프리카 공화국에 둘러싸이고 있는데 제대로 된 독립국입니다.

The Kingdom of Lesotho is a small country located in South Africa.

The  place labeled "Lesotho" is the Kingdom of Lesotho, which is surrounded by the Republic of South Africa,

 but is a well-established and independent country.

レソト王国は、南アフリカに位置するとても小さな国です。「Lesotho」と表記されている場所がレソト王国であり、

周囲を南アフリカ共和国に囲まれていますが、きちんとした独立国です。
